Working cards to improve spatial thinking
These task cards show site plans for 3-dimensional structures that your pupils have to recreate using wooden cubes. The different sets are divided into different levels of difficulty so that there is something suitable for every class level. The task cards from sets 2 – 5 show 3 views (front, side and top view) of a building task. The task cards from set 1 are simpler and only show a construction plan. Using small wooden cubes (edge length 2 cm), your pupils build the task on the work card on a grid board.
With solutions
For self-checking, the solution is displayed in 3 dimensions on the back of the task card. This allows pupils to work independently in free or station work. Rebuilding the tasks promotes spatial thinking, concentration and fine motor skills.
