Computing frame – a tried and tested learning aid for math lessons
The computing frame is a versatile learning aid for math lessons in elementary school. The abacus with the dimensions 25 x 18 cm (W x H) has bevelled sides made of hardwood, which enable your students to place the frame in front of them on the table. The 100 balls with a diameter of 1.1 cm can easily be pushed back and forth on the stainless steel rods. Choose between the color combination red / blue and red / white. Thanks to the low weight of only 357 g, your students can take the frame home with them and use it to do their homework.
Calculating and counting with the arithmetic frame
Slide rules are among the oldest arithmetic tools of all. They are still of great help in solving the first number problems – especially for elementary school students. When counting and calculating with the arithmetic logic frame, you can clearly illustrate abstract number relationships and number decomposition to your students.
